25 years ago we created a new business entity, A and B Associates. Established as a design-build contractor concentrating on equestrian facilities in the pacific Northwest. As we worked with our customers, listening to their desires and suggestions we developed many innovations in arena and barn construction methods. Many led to product improvements, reducing construction time and improving the end product. Next, we developed a complete Arena Do-It-Yourself Kit program that provided materials and a comprehensive Construction Instruction Guide. Over time, this became a major portion of our business. As a result, I decided to eliminate our crews and all construction equipment and tools, concentrating exclusively on Kit marketing.
